Designing your own Smallwoods piece is easy and fun! Whether you're uploading a family photo, adding custom text, or designing something totally unique, our online editor gives you everything you need to bring your vision to life.
Uploading Your Image
Click Upload Photos, Add, or Add Photos to upload an image from your device.
Once uploaded, you can reposition and resize your image within the frame.
Adding Text
To add text:
- Click Add and select the text option
- Enter your text and adjust font, size, and placement
- Move and position the text within your design
Adjusting Your Image
- Resize and reposition your image directly in the editor
- Make sure important details are not too close to the edges
Photo Filters & Edits
To edit your image:
- Click on the image after it has been uploaded
- Select from available filters such as Sepia or Black & White
- Adjust brightness, contrast, and other settings as needed
Product & Frame Options
On the left side of the screen, you can select:
- Size
- Frame color (if applicable)
Additional options:
- Select Print Refill for refill-only products
- Select Border to add an acrylic-style overlay
- For canvas products, white edges indicate where the image will wrap—avoid placing important details in this area
Starting Over
Click the trash icon to remove your design and begin again.
